Company Profile
Paul and Rolande St. Pierre founded St. Pierre, Inc. in Charlestown, New Hampshire in 1959 with a farm tractor and a small dump truck. St. Pierre, Inc. has grown to include a fleet of trucks and heavy equipment, several sand and gravel pits, rock quarries and crushing plants that provide construction materials and aggregates to builders, developers, and municipalities throughout the Connecticut River Valley, southwestern New Hampshire and central/southern Vermont.
Today, the company is owned by two of Paul & Rolande’s sons, Albert and Charles, and three of their grandchildren, Jeremy, Gabriel and Jacob. Many other family members continue to staff key positions with the company including Phil, Ric, Dominic, Fran and Laurie.
We are pleased to have many of the Founder’s grandchildren in the business to help us pass on our tradition of quality. It was 2004 when Jeremy St. Pierre joined the company after receiving his Civil Engineering degree from WPI. This helped the company grow to include in-house capacity for site layout with Total Station, GPS and CAD capabilities to insure accuracy. In addition to owners Jeremy, Gabriel and Jacob, others from the third generation include Rachel, Sheila, Alissa, and Joshua. Look for more to come from Paul and Rolande's great-grandchildren in the coming years.
Our crushing and screening plants produce over 40 different types of aggregate—from sand and loam to gravel and stone products. The Company’s quality control personnel ensure that its processed aggregates aggregates and construction materials meet state and federal highway specifications. St. Pierre, Inc. has expanded its region by opening Cohen Quarry, located in Marlow, NH, and Cheshire Quarry, located in Marlborough, NH.
St. Pierre, Inc. has always been committed to service to its community. The Company donates construction materials, equipment, and manpower for numerous educational, recreational, and other projects that are near and dear to our hearts.
From its simple beginning over 50 years ago, when Paul St. Pierre was digging cellar holes with horses, St. Pierre, Inc. has grown to become a major factor in the processing and delivery of earth resources and site construction in the region. As subsequent generations join the Company, its capabilities and geographic reach will expand—and the commitment to community service, hard work, and quality workmanship that Paul and Rolande St. Pierre started, will endure.
